In order to grow exposure and facilitate new and existing culture initiatives, Burning Man Netherlands (BMNL) is looking for a Culture Contact who is an active and visible participant, to develop and represent our Culture Programs.

As Culture Contact you will be the key connector to a growing community, you support cultivating projects and activities across multiple disciplines. A unique and distinctive culture emerges from the Burning Man experience.

Your responsibilities are, amongst others:

• Act as a liaison between the board and the community regarding all Culture related projects
• Help grow the Burning Man Netherlands Community
• Stimulate and initiate experiences in grand and joyful ways that lift the human spirit, address social problems and inspire a sense of culture, community, and cultural engagement.
• Be the go-to person for foreign burners that want to learn from our community by for example internships
• Contact other local burn community’s to learn and share experiences
• Inspire our community to organize and create Burning Man-inspired events

Who are you?

You are a visible and active member of our Dutch community who feels inspired by the ethos and 10 Principles of Burning Man.

• Great social and networking skills
• You have some experience organizing events
• You know how to bring people together and you stimulate collaboration
• A hero who is willing to spend a few hours a week of his/her free time for BMNL
