Production Lead Dutch Decompression 2022
Dutch Decompression 2022 team is looking for a Production Lead! As Production Lead, you will work closely with the board of Burning Man Netherlands and the amazing production team.
This role has pre-event and event duties. Your responsibilities are, amongst others:
- Co-create the structure and content of DDecom together with the community
- Strategize and plan ahead
- Create and guard the budget
- Connect the community
- Lead production meetings
- Work with the best event team ever consisting of 35+ burners
- Be the SPOC for local government, venue and BMnl board members
- Work on-site during build/event/strike
- And so on… and so on……
Who are you?
You are a creative mind who keeps your head cool in stressful situations. You preferably have a network in the event industry, and you know the 10 Burning Man principles by heart! Further, we ask for:
- Experience as an event management/production leader (any event will count)
- Avid project manager, loving sheets, timelines and lists
- Venue and vendor management (purchasing) experience
- Leading by consensus
- Basic knowledge of event-related safety rules
What’s in it for you?
As with all positions within Burning Man Netherlands, this is a volunteer position. However, being an Event Manager will give you access to a vast network of enthusiastic artists and engaged participants to help you develop.
