Stage Manager - Sheeptime Lead
At Where The Sheep Sleep, the program doesn’t run on its own. It needs people who are present, aware and ready to step in when needed.
For this Sheep, we’re looking for Stage Manager sheeptimeLeads. During your (half) day shift, you hold the overview of the program and make sure everything runs smoothly, on time and in flow.
This is a half-day or full-day role during the event, where you step in, take ownership and keep things moving.
What you’ll do
You are responsible for the program flow during your shift.
You will:
- Oversee workshops, performances, live music and DJs during your shift
- Be the point of contact for artists, performers and contributors
- Make sure everyone is informed and in the right place at the right time
- Coordinate with stage managers and Power & Sound
- Keep an overview of timing and step in when things shift
- Make quick decisions to keep the program running smoothly
- Help maintain the energy and experience of the event
Before your shift:
- Receive a briefing from the Programming Lead
- Get familiar with the timetable, flow and key contacts
During your shift:
- Stay present, clear and solution-oriented
- Balance structure and spontaneity
- Support contributors and respond to what’s happening in the moment

- You communicate clearly and easily
- You’re comfortable taking ownership for a set period of time
- You have an affinity with creative events and live programming
- You enjoy being part of the flow of the event.
