Welfare Co-Lead
Where the Sheep Sleep is looking for a Welfare Co-Lead! As Welfare Co-Lead, you and your team will take care of all the lost sheep by providing them comfort, a safe space and a hot beverage when needed.
All Welfare volunteers are requested to attend a short training. As part of the Welfare team you will be part of this training twice during the event.
Your responsibilities are, amongst others:
- Creating a safe and peaceful environment in the Welfare tent
- Check the Welfare inventory and buy/arrange new supplies when needed
- Be the first point of contact for medical help and referral
- Support Welfare volunteers during, pre- and post- their Welfare shifts when needed
Who are you?
You have a caring personality and you do not get stressed easily. Your friends know that they can always come to you for advice, because you are a great listener and you are responsible.
Further we ask for:
- Great communication skills
- Preferably experience as volunteer in Welfare or professionally in (mental) healthcare
- Being trained as an Emergency Officer (BHV) is a big pro (but not a must)
- You know how to handle a coffee maker ????
What’s in it for you?
